» MOL Starts Consolidation Service for Major American Furniture Retailer Published 6-Jan-2009 Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, today announced that W.S. Badcock Corporation, one of the largest home furniture retailers in the U.S., has selected Hong Kong-based MOL Consolidation Service Limited as its buyer’s consolidator in Asia, including China, Vietnam, and Malaysia. MCS started the service in December 2008.

» Kalmar to Deliver 15 Straddle Carriers to DP World Southampton Published 6-Jan-2009 Cargotec’s Kalmar business area has received an order to supply 15 of its ESC W straddle carriers to DP World Southampton in the UK. Two of the machines will be fitted with Kalmar’s new hybrid technology package and the remaining 13 are capable of being upgraded to hybrids in the future. Kalmar, which provides container handling solutions, will deliver the equipment to DP World Southampton during the first half of 2009.
