On May 27, 2021, SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (SITC International) and Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd (Dae Sun Shipbuilding) held the Online Newbuilding Contracts Signing Ceremony by Video Conference. Mr. Xue Mingyuan, Executive Director of SITC and President of SITC Shipping Group, and Mr. Soo Keun Lee, President&CEO of Dae Sun Shipbuilding, attended the ceremony and signed the contracts.
Under the circumstance that the Covid19 prevented the face-to-face communication between owners and shipyards, both sides completed the business negotiation of contracts and technical documents with high quality and efficiency based on trust by using the network mode. It is believed that the road of future cooperation will be more smooth and harmonious.
This signing will be conducive to the further optimization of the SITC’s fleet structure, thus provide strong support for improving the regional route layout, further enhancing its leading position in the Asian shipping market.
